Yea, that's that exactly the name of the Chicago song, bit it's close enough Wind is gusting to 25 or 6. To cover 56 miles, Terry is planning to ride for 4 hours.
Today's observations:
1. Terry has tremendous strength. I remember how hard it was to swim a mile as Boy Scout. I know how hard it was to go 0.3 yesterday. She went 1.2 just for starters. Tremendous.
2. I was at bike in when the first pro came in. They said he averaged 27 mph for 56 miles with this wind. You're a better man than I Gunga Din.
3. Saw a guy at breakfast wearing an IRONMATE t-shirt. Gotta get one. Sounds better than Bucket Bitch.
4. Does Apple make a Bluetooth keyboard for iPhone? If not, why not?
I turn 54 this year, and now that I've completed my 70.3, follow me as I train for and attempt my first full marathon this fall. Again, this is for all you non-athletes with a secret desire to swim, bike and run: you can do it if I can.

- I'm here to chronicle my road to my first 70.3 triathlon in May of 2011 and my first full marathon in late fall of 2011. I'm old, I'm slow and I'm not exactly skinny. I am not an athlete, never have been fast at anything, and I'm scared to death. But I am also very determined to get this thing done and off my bucket list, and finish before the cutoff time. I'm 54 years old this July, and the most athletic thing I've ever done in my life before the age of 48 was run to the refrigerator. Yeah, I grew up before girls' sports were in vogue in high school, but I always WANTED to be an athlete. Yet God gave me two left feet, poor hand eye coordination, and a body built for watching TV.
